The brief

Introduce modern audio, projection and live streaming while keeping new equipment in sympathy with the traditional church interior. The installation needed to support worship, music and multimedia, with controls suited to the church’s operators.

Projection and streaming

Three winched screens were installed with Epson laser projectors, allowing the screens to be concealed when not in use. Three motorised PTZoptics cameras provide flexible views for streaming and close-ups on internal displays. A Roland V8-HD production mixer brings image switching, overlays and picture-in-picture functions into one control position.

Sound and straightforward operation

JBL Control series speakers, matched amplification and speaker processing provide coverage through the building. An Allen & Heath AHM-64 matrix mixer with IP8 fader controllers offers tactile control alongside iPad access. The installation also includes radio microphones, playback and recording, with cloud-managed networking and a bespoke lockable console.
